I wasn’t born religious

but I found Jesus

when Mankind

and the Undertaker

climbed to the top

of Hell

 

I drew an invisible

cross in the center

of my chest

and started counting

left right jabs

like rosary beads

 

and when

the Undertaker

let his eyes roll

to the back of his head

and decided to take

the heavens

into his hands

throwing Mankind

off the cage

 

his cinderblock body

hanging in mid air

like a forty day rain

 

I fell to my knees

hailing Mary

and her son

by name praying

away gravity

and the inevitable

existence

of the Big Bang.
